This is the perfect event for everyone from the serious runner to someone putting on their first set of tennis shoes.  There will be two courses winding through the beautiful Keeneland Race Track, a 5K and a 1 mile course.  This family friendly event will also feature youth rock bands from the Lexington Music Academy, ice cream from Blue Bell Creameries and cupcakes provided by Red Head Custom Cakes.  All proceeds will benefit Sweet Blessings, a nonprofit ministry which creates unforgettable birthday cakes (think Cake Boss) for children living in poverty or with a life threatening illness.  Registration/t-shirt pick-up begins at 3pm at Keene Barn.  The 5K begins at 4pm with the 1 Mile Cake Walk following at 4:15.
